1. Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Dinky Kids Party Hire! By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your hire.

Booking & Payment

  • All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due the week of your event.
  • Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer or other methods as agreed.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before your event will receive a credit to use within 12 months.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will forfeit the deposit.
  • If Dinky Kids Party Hire needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or credit will be offered.

Weather Policy

  • Outdoor bookings are weather dependent. If the weather is unsuitable, we will do our best to reschedule or offer an alternative solution.
  • We recommend having a backup indoor venue for outdoor hires.

Hire Duration & Setup

  • Setup and pack down times will be arranged in advance.
  • Please ensure there is clear access and enough space for the hire items.
  • Hired items must not be moved or used for anything other than their intended purpose.

Safety & Supervision

  • Children must be supervised at all times while using our equipment.
  • Our soft play and inflatable items are designed for children only and not to be used by adults.
  • Dinky Kids Party Hire is not responsible for injuries caused by misuse or lack of supervision.


Damage & Cleaning

  • All hire items must be returned in the same condition they were received.
  • Any loss or damage may incur a replacement or cleaning fee.
  • No food, drink, or face paint on soft play or inflatable equipment.

Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure your safety, Dinky Kids Party Hire is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising during the hire period.
  • The hirer accepts full responsibility for all children and guests using the hired items.

Photos & Promotion

  • We love showcasing our setups! With your permission, we may take photos for promotional use on our website and social media.
  • Let us know if you would prefer your event not to be photographed.

2. Delivery & Setup Policy


We offer delivery across Auckland, with delivery fees based on distance from our base in Stanmore Bay, Hibiscus Coast.

Delivery Zones & Fees

  • Zone 1 (0–10km): Free delivery
  • Zone 2 (11–25km): $55 fee
  • Zone 3 (26–40km): $75 fee
  • Over 40km: Contact us for a custom quote
All distances are calculated from Stanmore Bay, Hibiscus Coast.

Delivery Times

  • Setup will take place 1–2 hours before your event start time unless otherwise arranged.
  • We'll confirm delivery and pickup times in advance.

Access & Conditions

  • Please make sure the area is flat, clean, and clear before our arrival.
  • Driveway or path access is required. We may not be able to deliver if there are steep stairs, long gravel paths, or narrow gates without prior notice.
  • Additional fees may apply if setup is delayed due to access issues or if extra labour is needed.

Weather

For outdoor setups, weather conditions must be suitable. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule delivery if it's unsafe to proceed.


3. Party Favors Policy


We love creating fun and memorable party favors to match your theme! Please read the following terms to ensure a smooth ordering experience.


Orders & Lead Times

  • All party favor orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • Custom or personalized items may require more time, especially during busy seasons — earlier is always better!
  • Rush orders may be accepted depending on availability and will incur a rush fee.

Payment

  • Full payment is required to confirm your party favor order.
  • No items will be dispatched or delivered without cleared payment.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Favors can be picked up from Stanmore Bay by appointment.
  • Delivery is available within our standard delivery zones (fees apply — see Delivery Policy).
  • Favors being delivered as part of a party hire package will be included with your setup.

Changes & Cancellations

  • Once your order is confirmed, no changes can be made to customized items.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of pickup/delivery are non-refundable.
  • Non-custom items may be refunded or credited at our discretion if cancelled with more than 7 days' notice.

Product Safety

  • Our favors are designed with children in mind, but adult supervision is always recommended, especially for kits that contain paint, small parts, or packaging materials.
  • Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities when ordering — especially if favors include edible treats.

Promotional Use

  • We may take photos of our party favors for use on our website and social media. Let us know if you'd prefer your items not be featured.
